The Hope of Alzheimer’s: An Advocate’s Journey is a multi-media project that chronicles the story of activist Mary Kay Baum, a woman with early on set Alzheimer’s disease. Since 2006, we have followed Mary Kay as she advocates for people and families affected by Alzheimer’s. The project includes this Web site, magazine articles, news stories and, eventually, a documentary and book.
"For her to share her experience, for her to dedicate her life to Alzheimer’s support groups, for her to use the words ‘hope’ and ‘Alzheimer’s’ in the same sentence is a remarkable undertaking and we’re proud to be part of it," says producer Dan Smith.
